British Pie Awards 2016
Our entry for our Jamaican Goat Pie has been submitted! Judging takes place in Melton Mowbray on 9th March, we might be ambitious but if you never try you never know!

As always, we will have fresh eggs, sausages, bacon and pies together with fresh and/or frozen goat meat and pork.
Goat Meat Provenance
Brambletigh and many goat meat produces were dismayed to see recent articles in the news regarding the sale of ‘mutton dressed as goat’ through a number of restaurants in the South East.
As a local, direct producer we can reassure our customers that all our goat meat is either reared directly by us on the smallholding, or sourced through local farmers who specialise in goat meat – just like us!
We are therefore very pleased to confirm that all our home reared goat kids sent for meat in 2016 will have Pedigree Meat Certificates issued by the British Boer Goat Society which will prove the provenance of the animal, giving you 100% confidence that the meat you purchase will be the real thing!
Here is our very first certificate just to give you an indication of what you should expect when buying quality, and genuine, goat meat from a supplier.
Countdown to Christmas!
As we count down to Christmas, Brambletigh will be at Hailsham Street Market this Thursday 10th December and we will have some special offers on frozen sausages, pork and bacon.
On Saturday 19th December we will be back with fresh goat meat, chipolatas, bacon, gammon and pigs in blankets.
We also have some lovely cheese baskets containing four cheeses from High Weald Dairy and a jar each of Wartling Wood Produce fig & cranberry chutney and red onion marmalade. The baskets retail at £22.50 and make a wonderful Christmas gift for any cheese lover.
Treat your family to the very best of local, traceable produce for a very special family Christmas dinner!
Don’t forget we are always happy to take orders – whether it’s half a pig or two rashers of bacon we’ll go the extra mile to help you. Just call, email or pop over to the market and have a chat. We can also order in cheese from High Weald Dairy, the last order date is 17th December.
Boship Hotel Christmas Markets
Brambletigh will be at the Boship Hotel Christmas Markets on Saturday 28 November and Sunday 6 December 2015. Come along and stock your freezer ready for the festive period with our Christmas meats including gammons, pigs in blankets, bacon and sausages.

We are looking forward to attending the Christmas Market at Singleton for the first time on the 14th November. We will be selling goat meat, pork, sausages and Christmas dinner trimmings.
Sussex Food & Drink Awards
We are over the moon to get through to the next round of the Newcomer of the Year at the Sussex Food & Drink Awards…we may get shortlisted, we might not, but it’s amazing to think how far we have come in such a short time…. battling the elements to look after the livestock and develop the farm, balancing work with the never ending box of round to its, getting our kitchen sorted and learning how to market and sell our food, having our first market stall, setting up a website, teaching others our new found skills… it’s been amazing!!!
Goat Meat is back!
Brambletigh have teamed up with a local producer in Rushlake Green, only a few miles from us, and are pleased to confirm that we will have some more goat meat ready from 20th August. we already have a number of orders but if you would like to place an order, or make an enquiry, please use the enquiry form on this website.
